Retail RentalThe Retail Rental graph pictured here displays the average national rental rate, by quarter, over the past two years for the size class in which the Caterpillar CS56B is (8.0 – 11.9 MTons). As you can see on the graph, the area between the two dotted lines is the most representative of the average national rental rate for this size class. As of Q1 of 2017, the average weekly rental rate is $1,779. We saw a large variance from Q3 of 2015 through Q2 of 2016, but over the past three quarters it has remained relatively even. Equipment Values & Market DataThe Values & Market Data graph displays the Fair Market Value (FMV) and the Forced Liquidation Value (FLV) for single drum vibratory compactors in the size class of 8.0 – 11.9 MTons that are in “Good” condition on the national level. FMV is the value resale markets and FLV is the value in auction markets. As you can see on the graph, the FMV and FLV have remained basically even over the past six months. The current FMV of this 2016 single drum vibratory compactor is $194,227 and the FLV is $126,248. Ownership & Operating Costs
This cost table displays all of the relative data that can be used to determine the costs of owning and operating the piece of equipment.
